The Academic General Practice Ireland (AGPI) is a national organisation representing academics and clinicians in primary care in Ireland. Established in 1997 to promote excellence in academic general practice and supported by the seven academic departments of general practice in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

AGPI aims to support the development of teaching and research within Irish academic general practice and primary care for the benefit of patients, practitioners, educators and researchers in Ireland.

Social programme:
Morning runs @ 7.15am (meet at the main Quad, next to the Aula)
Mindfulness and yoga with Ming 5pm Friday : remain at the Aula
Walking tour of UCC 5pm Friday: UCC visitors centre (down the corridor from Aula)
Drinks reception and dinner: 7pm Student Centre College Bar, Main Campus
Lively trad music session: 9pm College Bar til late
Mardyke Arena Health & Leisure Centre Cork Pay as you go access
(Note that some activities are available on a first come first service basis, so make sure to enquire at registration desk on arrival. A ticket is required for the Friday evening Conference dinner)
